GRADUATE SURVEY
Graduates, please complete the survey by clicking on the link and let us know if you are interested in being a student speaker or performer.
TICKET ALLOWANCE**
Due to the theater capacity, each graduate is allowed up to 6 guests. You will need to check out your tickets and bring them with you. Should you want/need extra tickets, email Wendy Haut at wk.haut@goalac.org. In the event we have left over tickets, we will do a lottery draw to disperse any remaining tickets.
Tickets will be available for pick-up beginning May 13, 2024.
The ceremony should run for approximately 1.5-2 hours.
This event will also be live streamed, a link and QR code coming soon.
Cap and Gown
GOAL High School will provide a hat for you to keep and a gown to borrow, you can also purchase your own gown to keep. If you want to purchase your own, please contact your school counselor or counseling assistant.
If you bought or are planning to buy your own gown, be sure to bring it (freshly pressed/ironed and free of wrinkles) to the Avalon Theatre with you. You may decorate your cap, but it must be school appropriate.
If you are borrowing a gown, you may pick up a cap to decorate early. Additionally, all locations will have a cap decorating day with supplies if you wish to join. That day will be announced later. Your gown will be available and ready at The Avalon Theatre on graduation day.
Graduation Video:
We will need all graduating students to submit two photos for the Northwest GOAL High School graduation video. Photos need to be good resolution. We need ONE baby/young child photo and ONE formal or photo of your choice. You can have fun with these photos, be creative, just keep them PG rated. Submit all photos to Terry Reeves at t.reeves@goalac.org Include your full name in your email. Please use the following format to save and submit your photos. (Example: Terry.Reeves.babyphoto and Terry.Reeves.formalphoto) PHOTOS DUE MAY 13, 2024.
Graduation rehearsal and ceremony info: Guests will need tickets for entry
Graduation Date: June 1, 2024
Time: 12:00 pm
Venue: The Avalon Theatre, 645 Main St, Grand Junction, CO 81501
Rehearsal Date: Wednesday, May 29, 2024
Rehearsal Time: 10:00am-12:00pm
Speakers and performers, you will need to be at rehearsal for the full two hours (if you live out of town, practice your speech out loud!)
Graduation Day: June 1, 2024
NO BALLOONS are permitted at The Avalon Theatre.
Student Speakers and performers need to arrive at 9:00am.
General Students need to arrive at 10:30am.
Please arrive on time, having eaten. You will be walking in the ceremony during lunch. (GOAL will provide water and granola bars to students prior to the ceremony)
Graduation Ceremony: 12:00pm – Guests can be seated up to 45 minutes ahead of time.
